The Spiral Jetty

It was one of the most beautiful days so far this year...and Shelly and I set out to do some wood hunting. Not to long after we set out we decided to look for the Spiral Jetty instead. (can you tell I'm taking the picture of us?)
We went through fire.....
and brimstone to achieve our goal. Of course, if you know Shelly and me that wouldn't surprise you.
We took a wrong turn... or actually we didn't take the right lane in the fork in the road so we had to turn around and go back... at least there was a sign telling us to do so.
Going out west is so cool. He I am with a pile of cement, in the middle of no where.
Here's Shelly in front of lake nothing in the middle of no where. I think we had more fun taking pic's of us than anything else.
Shelly posing in front of the Spiral Jetty... it's way out in the back ground. NO big Shelly's a lot more fun than the Spiral Jetty to look at anyway. It was a great day. Shelly is so easy to talk to and just a ton of fun.

Junior Prom

Josh and Marissa
Johnny and Christina
What a fantastic group of kids. These are the only ones I could catch. There was six couples in the group... Johnny said they had a BLAST!!!
Miranda and Spencer. They look Beautiful!!!!

Happy Birthday Natalie

Natalie's birthday was a special weekend. She opened presents on Friday night with her friends and on Sunday morning before we headed off to Paul's homecoming. Here she got the CTR ring she wanted.
This is a picture taken at her party. They were all decorating cookies for their treat.
They seem to enjoy being creative.
Ryan and Kelly took first place. John and I each selected one cookie to
receive the coveted award.
During the bigger and better part of the game team two brought back
National Geographic magazines.
Team one brought back golf clubs. I think Johnny was hit over the
head with one when I wasn't looking.
Then we played the candy bar game, spoons, and I've never. Lets just say they laughed a lot!!!
I sure hope Natalie had a wonderful birthday....she sure does light up my life. I don't think my drab life would be quite as spectacular without the breath of cheer Natalie breaths into it!
~~~I LOVE YOU NATALIE~~~
The Mona Lisa is nothing
Well we set out to paint Johnny's room...John had the closet. Here he was able to stay out of the line of fire except for the smiley face he got on his cheek.
Johnny got it from behind....hee, hee, hee!!!!
K'Lee was a sweetheart and made lunch for everyone. Thanks K-K
A'leese and Natalie got each other.
Natalie dumped some paint on the floor so we had a little extra ammunition.
Everyone seemed to get got at this point. Everyone but JOHN.
A pictures worth a thousand words......
This is the way things started out just a little rub on the nose. Like I said the Mona Lisa is nothing... this is ART.
ELVIS
ELVIS is an amazing pet. K'Lee is enjoying having his wings clipped
so he can come out of the cage.
Johnny was the first one to get Elvis to sit on his shoulder.
He LOVES Johnny.
Natalie is so happy. She really wanted a bird... it's fun to have an
animal in the house that no one is allergic to.
Even A'leese loves the feathery fun.
I don't know who is more unsure A'leese or Elvis?
The "magic bow"
Miranda came to our house to visit...and while she was here she happened upon the "magic bow". Not fully realizing its true potential she placed it in her hair and stated that if she were to wear it to school she would be asked to prom... Several days later when she was stressed about finals, and still not asked to prom, she snuck over early one morning on her way to school and retrieved the "magic bow". She placed it in her hair and headed off to school. Needless to say it did its trick, her day was good and she was asked to prom. I won't tell her the magic is within her... she is really what is magic about the bow. But I will make her wear it if for just a little bit at prom... so she never forget the power that comes from the "magic bow".
Ransom
What goes up must come down... Johnny decided to go to his Jr. Prom. YEAH!!! So he made a ransom note and took it over to Kristina's house. He cut out every letter of the message that read, "If you want to see your bear again agree to go to the Prom with John Perry or else leave 2,500,000.00 in small bills under the slide at the park." He took Kristina's teddy bear and left the note in it's place.
Kristina cut several skittles apart, scooped out the insides and placed a message back that when pieced together read, "Your answer is under the slide at the park." When he got to the park there was a brown paper bag taped under the slide filled with fake 20's and on one of them was written YES. She got the bear back and Johnny got to roll in his ransom....How fun is that?
