This is how K'Lee makes her bed. It was so cute I had to take a pic of it. All of her animals have a certain place and they all have feelings. The extra time she spends to make it special for them makes me grin. She will make a good mom someday.

Sweat-Hearts dance

A'leese and Zak went to see Avatar, dinner, here for a game of extreme aggravation (which Zak won) , and then to the dance. I think they had a good time. Zak is a SWEETHEART!

SNAPSHOTS

Snapshots are the little glimpses into the where and when of our happiness. I was looking at some old pictures and the feelings of these moments came flooding back like a gift from Father-Time himself. I thought I'd share a couple of my favorites.
Johnny after crazy hair day at school. He ALWAYS makes me laugh.
A beautiful day with John at Blacksmith Canyon (when is it not beautiful?) We were up raking leaves.
Walking around Peach Days with Stephanie and Natalie.
This is one of my very favorite pictures of all time. Me and my siblings being siblings. Daniel always seems to get the worst of it...wonder why?
Whitney and A'leese just hanging out on a summers day. I sure do love the Ropers and A'leese ain't bad either.
Camping with Doug. What more can I say? He is so funny...He had just taken a plastic fork and done his hair. I think he has watched The Little Mermaid one to many times.
Stephanie and some of her crew. She is always sparkling even when the sun isn't quite hitting her at the time she manages a glitter here and there.
Grandma and Grandpa in the middle of the entire group of children and grandchildren, camping none the less. This should tire anyone and yet they keep on ticking. Guess it was all of the good four square we played all day long.
Cierra and her birthday cake Miranda and A'leese made for her. She is such a ball of sunshine. I just can't express how much Cierra brings to the world. She is amazing.
Well that's all for now cuz I need to do other things but I wanted to share a glimpse into my bursting heart. I am so glad I have such wonderful friends and family. God has blessed me in so many, many ways.

A painted lady

A'leese went to a mascaraed party so I got to paint a mask on her.
It looked awesome...but then again when doesn't A'leese look awesome?

Out with the old in with the new

It was finally time to get rid of those old tonsils that continually make Natalie's life miserable. We checked in and it was off to a room and a new look.
She got fitted in her gown and "not so glass" slippers.
An IV and a moose was the next items of business...
A little dose of La-La juice and off down the hall to the operating room.
Here she is right after they brought her out of recovery. She isn't feeling to swell but hopefully this will get rid of the chronic tonsillitis.
She had just eaten her first Popsicle and decided to pose with her moose. Little does she know she will get SICK of Popsicles!!!!
She spent the remainder of the time recovering in A'leeses room. She had plenty of visitors.
One of her favorites was Ryan...can you blame her? He sure has a way of lighting up a room with his enthusiasm.

NOEL

K'Lees cat Angel died on Thanksgiving day so sweet Cierra and Co. went in search of a kitten for K'Lee... her name is Noel.

Merry Christmas to all....and to all a hat.

It is amazing to me how many times, in my adult life, Santa has made Christmas special.
I LOVE SANTA!
It was the year of hats. Johnny got this lovely wool cap.
K'Lee got this cute disco hat.
A'leese got this Russian hat that Johnny made a head for before he wrapped it up. A'leese is excited to show off the realism of the paper head.
Natalie got her long awaited bird and named him Elvis.
John got a t-shirt with grumpy on it and wore it for two days.
Natalie got gum. I'm glad they are satisfied with the simple thing in life.
K'Lee got toe socks.
Johnny lounging on Christmas morning in his HAT, of course.
A'leese showing off her PJ's in a older hat.
I am glad that our Christmas' are about showing one another how much we love them by the way we treat them and not how much you get under the tree.
Otherwise we would have been in trouble. Thank heavens for SANTA!!!
